Application licence
Kilogram is licensed under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. This page explains Kilogram's purpose and purchase options. It supplements that agreement and does not replace it with a custom app licence. Nothing here limits rights that applicable consumer law does not allow to be excluded.
Purpose and limitations
Kilogram helps you record meals, review calories and macronutrients, and use nutrition goals and summaries. It is a diary and informational tool, not a service for medical diagnosis or treatment and not a substitute for individual advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
Nutrition values and calculations can be incomplete, out of date, or inaccurate. A diary may also be incomplete. Check relevant product labels and entered quantities rather than assuming a catalogue entry is exact. The app does not guarantee a particular weight change, health outcome, or nutritional result. Seek appropriate professional advice before making medical decisions or changes that require individual medical guidance.
Pro purchase options
Kilogram Pro has three purchase options: a monthly auto-renewable subscription, an annual auto-renewable subscription, and a Lifetime one-time purchase. The features included in Pro and the offers available to you are described in the app before purchase.
A monthly subscription has a one-month billing period; an annual subscription has a one-year billing period. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through Apple before renewal. The price, billing period, and any applicable introductory terms are displayed in the purchase flow. Do not rely on an older screenshot or test price as the current offer.
Lifetime is a non-consumable, one-time purchase that grants Pro access without a recurring subscription charge or a scheduled subscription expiry. It does not create a promise to operate a separate cloud service forever or to include unrelated future products. Buying Lifetime should not be assumed to cancel a subscription already billed by Apple; manage an existing subscription separately.
Payments, subscription billing, and transaction processing are handled by Apple. A trial or introductory offer applies only when actually offered to you with its conditions in the purchase flow; it is not promised to every user.
Managing and restoring purchases
Manage or cancel a subscription in your device's Apple Account subscription settings. On iPhone or iPad, open Settings, select your name, then Subscriptions and the relevant subscription. See Apple's cancellation instructions.
Deleting Kilogram or emailing the developer does not cancel an Apple-billed subscription. After cancellation, the access period and any exceptions are determined by the applicable transaction and Apple's purchase terms.
Open Settings → Kilogram Pro → Restore Purchases in Kilogram with the Apple Account used for the purchase to restore eligible access. Kilogram also recognizes the earlier FoodDiary Pro / Remove Ads non-consumable purchase as Lifetime Pro access when eligible and not revoked. A retained local purchase flag can preserve access on an existing installation while purchase verification is unavailable; it does not guarantee restoration on a new device. If expected access is missing, contact support before purchasing the same access again.
Restoring Pro is not restoration of a deleted local diary. Purchase history and locally stored nutrition data are separate.
Refunds
Refund requests for Apple-billed purchases can be submitted through Apple's refund process. Eligibility depends on the transaction, Apple's policies, and applicable law; a refund is not guaranteed by this website. See Apple's refund instructions.
Your data and external food data
Data-handling information is described in the Privacy Policy. Review permissions before enabling Apple Health transfer, and review exported files before sharing them. Keep important copies using the available export and device-backup options, while noting that a portable export is not necessarily a complete restorable app backup.
Food catalogues have their own provenance and licence terms, listed under Data Sources and Licenses. Rights granted under those licences are not withdrawn or restricted by this page or by a general notice about the app's own design and code. Mention of a data provider does not imply that the provider endorses Kilogram.
Availability and updates
The app may receive updates, and compatibility can depend on supported operating-system versions and Apple's services. This is not a guarantee of uninterrupted operation or of a particular future feature. Changes remain subject to applicable purchase terms and mandatory consumer rights.
